FULLfast Metabolico Review
FULLfast Metabolico Facts
- Made in Italy by Medestea
- Can be taken in combination with a weight loss spray and chewing gum
- If you bought this supplement from Holland and Barrett and took for the recommended 12 weeks, it may cost you to £197.70
Fullfast Metabolico is designed to be used as part of a calorie controlled diet and according to the product information will help you reduce your appetite.
Avoiding hunger pangs is an important part of losing weight. As they say, “a minute on the lips, a lifetime on the hips” really is true and sometimes it is this giving way to a moment’s temptation, which can derail an otherwise healthy eating programme.
Fullfast Metabolico is a diet pill supplement that comes from the Fullfast range.
Metabolico contains two sets of ingredients. The Metabolstarter Complex, which contains Green tea and Capsicum – designed to increase the speed of the metabolism. It also contains Fucus – a seaweed extract which contains iodine so may have an effect upon your thyroid and the way you burn off fat.
The second feature is the Adipofast Complex. This contains amino acid Carnitine as well as mint and Piperine (black pepper extract).
Fullfast Metabolico looks safe. The capsules are made by using microencapsulation, which means they are gastric friendly, and will not dissolve until they are in the stomach.
This avoids the risk of side effects from ingredients such as capsicum being released too early in your system and causing a burning sensation.
There are three products in the Fullfast range – an appetite control spray and a weight loss chewing gum, with Metabolico providing the diet pill support.
You can take these three supplements in combination or alternatively use any of them separately.
How to take Fullfast Metabolico
Take the Metabolico tablet twice a day, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon or evening. Make sure to do this away from mealtimes.
You are advised to take for a period of 8-12 weeks.
Each tablet should be swallowed whole in order to avoid possible irritation from the Capsicum extract.
If you use in combination with the weight loss gum and the spray, you are advised to chew 4 pieces of gum (10 -15 minutes) in between meals.
You are advised to use the appetite spray 5 times a day and at least 30 minutes before meals.
Fullfast Metabolico is made by an Italian supplements company called Medestea. The company was founded in 1990 and launched the European trademarked brands Clinians and Sant Angelica.
Trying to lose weight can be boring so imposing a regime where you have to take different things at regular intervals could be effective. This is probably one of the major advantages of using the spray and the gum in combination with the Fullfast Metabolico capsules.
FULLfast Metabolico Concerns:
- You should not take supplements long term. We are concerned that the product information advises you to take for 12 weeks
- Could be little more than a placebo effect
- For a widely available supplement, there is hardly any feedback at all
What Does FULLfast Metabolico Claim To Do?
According the information on the Medestea website, the Fullfast range fulfils an important role in weight loss. There is an explanation about what happens to the metabolism once you start restricting you appetite on a diet and why it is a good idea to take a supplement.
When following low-calorie diets, BMR (basal metabolic rate) tends to slow down since the body adapts its energy expenditure to the lower calorie intake.
This is the reason why, after a few days of dieting, the loss of weight may slightly decrease and it could be useful to stimulate metabolism.
Fullfast Metabolico claims,
To help with weight control, when a low-calorie diet and healthy lifestyle aren’t enough.
There are three key features;
- Help people to achieve success in following and sticking to a diet.
- Enhance the effects of dieting.
- Consolidate the results achieved by dieting, avoiding the yo-yo effect.
In addition, it;
will help you avoid hunger pangs by controlling your appetite.
According to the product information;
When you use Fullfast, you’re not just finding another way on how to lose weight quickly but also a way to control your hunger pangs and keep the weight off!
So What Is FULLfast Metabolico and What Are The Ingredients For FULLfast Metabolico?
Fullfast Metabolico is a diet pill that the makers say may help reduce hunger pangs and may help increase the speed of th metabolism Each serving is equal to two capsules
Metabolstarter complex (427mg)
- Green tea extract (300mg): With proven health benefits because of its high levels of antioxidants, green tea has been also been found to promote modest weight loss. It can help increase the speed the metabolism.
- Fucus dry extract 112mg (224mcg iodine): This seaweed extract contains iodine, which is sometimes used to treat thyroid conditions. Based on animal testing Fucus Vesiculosus may lower blood sugar levels but the safety and effectiveness for human use has not yet been established. It can be potentially dangerous to take iodine in supplement form.
- Capsicum Oleoresin (15mg containing Capsaicinoids 1.5mg): Oleoresin is the active ingredient in chilli peppers that gives them their heat. . When taken in sufficient quantities, some scientific research has found that high levels of capsaicoinds may raise the metabolism.
Adipofast Complex (310, 7 mg)
- L Carnitine (300mg): Amino acid that helps the body convert fat into energy. Your body makes this substance in the kidneys and liver and stores it in the muscles, heart and brain. Taking L Carnitine supplements can be effective for some medical conditions but there is no evidence that it helps with weight loss or boosts exercise performance. Some people believe it to be a mild appetite suppressant but again no evidence.
- Black pepper dry extract 6mg (of which Piperine is 5,7mg): Black pepper extract that is believed to promote the bioavailability of other compounds. There is some evidence that Piperine can increase the speed of the metabolism if taken in high amounts .
- Peppermint essential oil (5mg): Natural plant leaves often drunk as a tea. Sometimes used to treat bloating, gas and digestive disorders like dyspepsia and can be effective for treating headaches. Although safe Peppermint can interact with many prescription drugs.
So What Does All This Mean?
Fullfast Metabolico looks safe to take and it may offer some support during a weight loss diet but don’t expect miracles. It is supposed to help you reduce portion sizes but we cannot really see why it should do this, by looking at the ingredients list.
This supplement does not contain anything in the way of appetite reducing fibre. That said if you were to use it in combination with the gum and the spray it will probably help you focus on your diet and even if this is not much more than a placebo effect, it may work for some people.
The metabolism boosting effect is achieved by antioxidants rather than simple stimulants so this supplement should not cause any jittery side effects.
Does FULLfast Metabolico Have Any Side Effects?
Everything can cause side effects for some people, but in general, Fullfast Metabolico does not contain anything that should adversely affect the majority of people who try it. We would not advise you to stay on any supplement long term so would not recommend using it for 12 weeks.
Do not take if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Do not take if you are trying to conceive – Fucus may have a contraceptive effect. Avoid if you are taking prescription medication because some of the ingredients are well known for causing drug interactions. These include with Warfarin, anti depressants and thyroid medication.
If you suffer with any type of health issue or medical condition check with your doctor first.
Any FULLfast Metabolico Reviews From Customers?
There are very few customer reviews for Fullfast Metabolico and this is despite searching. We even checked out the various European retailers who are selling this supplement and were unable to find any customer feedback.
However, there are a couple of reviews on the Amazon.co.uk website. Both look genuine and both are positive.
One customer wrote;
This actually works – you have to keep remembering to have it but it tastes nice and genuinely takes the edge of your appetite. Have bought a couple now
Another customer used the Fullfast chewing gum in combination with the diet pills. She wrote;
It most certainly helped…. (though I am also enjoying Fullfast chewing gum in my ongoing regime). I am an active lady jive dancer … I eat fairly healthily but, until recently, with portions that might be considered large even for a man who was a construction labourer. No wonder I’m well overweight.
BUT after one course of Fullfast – along with a couple of chewing gums when my ‘fancy something’ creeps up on me, I’ve comfortably reduced my portion sizes and am continuing to lose weight…even though I have completed my course (30 tablets over two weeks) of Fullfast Metabolico.
For me it worked. ….Knowing how naughty I can be with food choices I expect I will have to some time in future…but right now I am happy that it helped set me up for proper portion sizes and dietary choices. Yes…Five Star
So Does FULLfast Metabolico Work?
We think it may help a bit if you put some effort into it yourself.
Green tea has been shown to have thermogenic and antiobesity properties
according to clinical testing and if you combine this with some resistance training you may find you start losing weight because;
Its potential is increased with decreasing body fat, waist circumference, and triacylglyceride levels and by increasing lean body mass and muscle strength.
Restricting your portion sizes is also a key to weight loss. The problem here is that we cannot see anything in Fullfast Metabolico that will help reduce your appetite or stop food cravings. Although some people believe that L Carnitine mildly reduces the appetite, this effect is not backed up by any clinical evidence.
We can’t help wondering if the lady who lost the weight and reduced her appetite was helped mainly by the chewing gum?

What About A Guarantee
No money back guarantee is on offer.
Fullfast Metabolico is not the worst diet pill on the market. It looks fairly safe, is stimulant free and does not seem to come with associated side effects. However, we cannot see how it will help to reduce your appetite – the major selling point of the supplement.
The product advertising advises you to stay on it for 8-12 weeks – which we do not recommend either for health or for your pocket.
Another downside to Fullfast Metabolico is the price. At £32.95 for just 2 weeks supply, it is extremely expensive, especially if you buy from Holland and Barrett. However, it is cheaper if you can manage to find it on Amazon from the seller who is offering it for £9.99.
We can see that if you bought the complete Fullfast range – the spray, the chewing gum and Fullfast Metabolico it could help you lose weight by providing a structure of products to take throughout the day to keep you on track. Nevertheless, it would be expensive to do this and for the same cost, you could probably devise a routine of your own to keep you from snacking and over eating.
We must look at the supplement itself and not the associated products. The bottom line is that Fullfast Metabolico probably will not work in the way as described and although it seems safe, it will most likely be ineffective. OK is simply not good enough to make it onto our approved list so we have no other option but to reject it.
