BellyTrim XP Facts
- Manufactured by Biotrust
- 120 capsules per bottle-30 day supply
- Mild fat burner
When customers go to the Belly Trim XP product page on the Biotrust website, they are greeted with the statement ‘Discover How Consuming These Two ‘Super Fats’ Can Actually Help You Burn Off Unwanted Stomach Fat — Fats That Fight Fat: Yes, It’s True!’ This is little more than click bait, promising the customer exactly what they want, even though these two ‘super fats’ are not as super as made out in the extensive sales pitch on the website.
Biotrust are the manufacturers of Belly Trim XP. We have looked at Biotrust products before, and have found that they run a seemingly ethical company, donating to numerous charities.
Customers interested in other Biotrust products should check out our reviews of Leptiburn and Biotrust IC5. The two founders of Biotrust are Joel Marion and Josh Bezoni, two nutritionists. Biotrust are very proud of their self-regulation of product quality, stating that they use natural ingredients which are tested for purity and quality, before being manufactured into the final diet pill product, adhering to GMP guidelines.
We have received requests to look into Biotrust products from our readers before, with some readers being concerned because they cannot find any independent reviews of the product range online. Some reviews are available, but they all seem to link back to the website, and greatly encourage customers to make a purchase. This may be partly because of the affiliate program that Biotrust run
BellyTrim XP Concerns:
- Overstated claims
- No reliable reviews
What Does BellyTrim XP Claim To Do?
The company makes a lot of claims and promises about their product, some of which are direct statements, whilst others are inferred. Suggestions of which sized package to purchase hints that a single bottle of Belly Trim XP is intended for customers who wish to lose up to 10lbs. The product is supposedly made from an ‘Advanced Waist-Slimming Fatty Acid Complex’.
The website goes into a huge amount of detail as to how the product works, and how this relates to weight loss. However, as we show below, we believe that Biotrust have overstated the role that the ingredients have to play in weight loss.
So What Is BellyTrim XP and What Are The Ingredients For BellyTrim XP?
A serving of two capsules of Belly Trim XP contains 20 calories, but also contains 1200 mg of Conjugated Linoleic Acid, 400 mg of Pomegranate Seed oil (standardised to 70% Punicic acid) and 5 mg of Bioperine. Consumers are recommended to take two servings of two capsules each per day.
- Conjugated Linoleic Acid: Naturally found in dairy products and beef, conjugated linoleic acid may help to reduce body fat, but may not cause changes to body weight. The average daily diet provides between 15 and 174 mg of conjugated linoleic acid, but studies have used much higher levels. Human studies of CLA have produced contradictory results, and it is described as not only a relatively poor fat burner, but also an unreliable one.
- Pomegranate Seed Oil (std. 70% Punicic Acid): One study has linked the consumption of Pomegranate seed oil to a very small reduction in triglycerides in the blood stream of adults with high levels of lipids in their blood. However, a study using solely punicic acid at a much larger dose noted no changes to triglyceride levels, and the results could not be replicated in healthy people. It is possible that any effect upon triglycerides is due to the vitamin e content of the oil, rather than punicic acid. Various studies have also noted that Pomegranate seed oil has no effect upon weight, fat mass or cholesterol levels.
- Bioperine: This patented Black pepper extract is used for increasing the bioavailability of nutritional compounds. In other words, it increases the amounts of nutrients that are absorbed into the body in the digestive tract. It may also increase the absorption of various drugs, which may lead to potential side effects.
So What Does All This Mean?
Whilst the Belly Trim XP website states that CLA and Punicic acid are the two best fat burning fats available, the actual clinical evidence shows that both are actually quite ineffective at aiding weight loss. Bioperine is proven to improve the bioavailability of many compounds, but absorbing more of an ineffective fat burner into the consumer’s bloodstream will still not make much of a difference to weight loss. The effectiveness of Belly Trim XP’s ingredients is vastly overstated by the manufacturers.
Does BellyTrim XP Have Any Side Effects?
The official website does not mention any side effects but does allude to the product’s safety profile in the FAQ section; here the possibility of allergic reactions is discounted because the product does not contain many common allergens. The FAQ section also recommends that anyone with any medical conditions should consult their physician before taking this product.

Any BellyTrim XP Reviews From Customers?
We could not find any independent customer reviews for Belly Trim XP. Whilst there were plenty of reviews on youtube.com and on some diet pill review websites, many of them link through to their own affiliate linked website, meaning that they are being paid on commission for sending paying customers to Biotrust.
As usual, our readers are encouraged to post about their own experiences with Belly Trim XP in the comments section at the bottom of the page, as this will help other readers to make their own informed decisions about Belly Trim XP.
So Does BellyTrim XP Work?
Based upon the clinical evidence that we have read, it seems that Belly Trim XP could work to aid weight loss, but that its fat burning potential is unreliable, unpredictable and minimal. It is definitely not as potent as the sales page states.
There are no independent customer reviews available at this time, which makes it difficult to state whether consumers have actually lost weight using this diet pill or not.
Where Can I Buy BellyTrim XP?
A single bottle of Belly Trim XP costs $49 from Biotrust. However, there are offers available on bulk purchases, with three bottles costing $42 each, a total of $126, or 6 bottles costing $34 each, a total cost of $204.
Numerous delivery options are available, with standard delivery to the continental US costing $6.95, and international shipping costing varying amount based upon the destination. UK customers should put their individual country, i.e. England or Wales etc, as this offers cheaper shipping than choosing the United Kingdom option.
Each package size is recommended for different amounts of desired weight loss, inferring how much weight customers can lose by using this product. One bottle is ‘recommended for less than 10lbs to lose’, whilst 3 bottles are recommended for ’10-30lbs to lose’ and 6 bottles are recommended for those with 30lbs plus to lose.
Delivery costs $9.95 for those in the USA, but international customers need to contact the company for a quote on the delivery charges to their individual address. Remember that delivery charges are not covered by money back guarantees, and so customers should factor this into their decision to purchase the product.
The FAQ states,
We are unable to guarantee today’s pricing beyond today. Our pricing often changes due to the constantly changing prices of the high-quality, exotic ingredients used in BellyTrim XP™ as well as supply and demand. To guarantee our lowest pricing, be sure to secure your order today.
This may just be a ploy to encourage customers to order immediately on impulse, or to order a larger number of bottles to secure value for money now.
What About A Guarantee
The product comes with a one year money back guarantee, which is undoubtedly one of the best offers we have seen. Customers report that when phoning the company to acquire a refund, the customer representatives do strongly encourage you to keep using the product and to not seek out a refund, and so customers may need to be firm and persistent when trying to get their RMA code and returns address.
It is great that Biotrust offers a one year guarantee on its products, because we suspect that many customers may be disappointed with Belly Trim XP after reading the grossly exaggerated sales pitch on the Biotrust website. A lack of independent customer reviews worries us, because customers searching for genuine opinions of the product are likely to be guided (or misguided) by all of the glowing reviews written by affiliates of the company, who have a financial interest in promoting the product.
Whilst the company quotes some genuine research, they also ignore huge amounts of other research purely because it does not make their ingredients list look like an advanced formulation of miracle fat burning fats.
In reality, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the fat burning capabilities of the ingredients are unpredictable, with some studies showing no results, whilst other studies suggest some effect. The groups of people studied is also incredibly important, but is neglected by Biotrust when explaining these research studies- most successful studies relevant to the product were conducted on very specific groups of people, such as the elderly, or the morbidly obese with high levels of fats in their blood.
Overall, Belly Trim XP is okay and unlikely to cause side effects, however after our research revealed such a huge gap between the claims made by the manufacturers, and the research that they conveniently ignored.
We reject BellyTrim XP.
