EpiBurn Pro Review
EpiBurn Pro Facts
- Manufactured by USP Labs
- 90 capsules per bottle
- Contains stimulants
EpiBurn Pro is manufactured by USPlabs, based in Dallas, Texas. Whilst their website initially seems to be professional, when looking for specific elements its flaws are revealed. Numerous different links, including their returns policy page, just divert to the contact us page. This page contains only a generic contact form, and when trying to access the customer service link, the link no longer exists.
For customers in the United States, there is a phone number to call: 1-800-890-3067, which is manned from 9-5 EST, Monday to Friday. USPlabs’ facebook page and twitter page are incredibly active, and so it may be worth contacting them through these channels if phoning is not an option. At least using the facebook messenger system allows customers to see when their message has been read by a company representative.
How to take EpiBurn Pro
The usage instructions are listed in great detail on the official website. They are as follows:
Consult with your physician before using this product. Begin by taking 1 capsule on an empty stomach 15-30 minutes before breakfast. An additional 1 capsule may be taken 5-6 hours later. Once tolerance has been assessed, an additional capsule may be added in the morning. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN 3 CAPSULES IN 24 HOURS. DO NOT USE PRODUCT FOR MORE THAN 8 WEEKS. ALLOW AT LEAST A 4 WEEK BREAK BEFORE STARTING ANOTHER 8-WEEK CYCLE. Consume at least 125 fl. oz. of liquid per day for men and 91 fl. oz. of liquid per day for women while taking this product. Store in cool dry place. Discard after expiration date. Do not use if safety seal is broken or missing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
The USPlabs website does not sell the products it advertises, as they sell their products entirely though third party retailers. Return’s policies, prices and delivery times and costs will all depend upon the individual retailer. Bodybuilding.com offer cheaper prices for Epiburn Pro than their competitors, and ship internationally. They also have a good returns policy.
EpiBurn Pro Concerns:
- Uses ingredients that aren’t connected to weight loss
- May cause side effects
- Expensive from some retailers
What Does EpiBurn Pro Claim To Do?
Strangely enough, Epiburn Pro does not make any claims about its abilities. It merely has an “advanced formula” and is “scientifically reviewed”.
Bodybuilding.com describes it as a caffeine capsule, suggesting that it provides the consumer with extra energy and focus. However, there are no specific statements at all about what effects customers can expect from using this supplement.
So What Is EpiBurn Pro and What Are The Ingredients For EpiBurn Pro?
One capsule contains 100 mg of caffeine, and 213 mg of a proprietary blend consisting of the other listed ingredients. Because it is a proprietary formula, there is no legal requirement to release the ingredient quantities used in this diet pill.
The ingredients used in EpiBurn Pro are detailed on the official sales website as follows:
- Withania Somnifera (Root) Extract: More commonly known as Ashwagandha, this plant has been used in traditional indian medicine. It supposedly treats a variety of ailments, including arthritis, anxiety, insomnia, asthma, menstrual problems, and as a general adaptogen. Clinical evidence to support any use is lacking, and there is no clear link with weight loss; it may lower blood sugars, and so may play a role in reducing sugar crashes and sugar cravings between meals, which can contribute to weight loss.

- Olea Europaea (Leaf) Extract: Olea Europaea is the Olive tree; its various parts are used to treat a wide variety of ailments, with varying amounts of scientific backing. The leaf is used for treating infections and viruses such as the common cold. It is also used to treat chronic fatigue; if this is effective, it could help athletic endurance.

- Yohimbe (Pausinystalia Johimbe) (Bark) extract: Some studies have noticed increased blood concentrations of free fatty acids in participants who use yohimbe extract, suggesting increased rates of lipolysis. However, the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database has stated that there is insufficient evidence to claim it aids in weight loss.
- Coleus Forskohlii (Root) Extract: A plant belonging to the mint family that is thought to boost the metabolism. However, the clinical trials performed using this ingredient have shown no weight loss, even when the participants’ lean muscle mass increased and fat mass decreased.
- Nelumbo Nucifera (Seed) Extract: Nelumbo Nucifera is a type of Lotus; preliminary studies in vitro and in rats have suggested that extracts from this plant can reduce fat mass in rats that are fed a high fat diet. The research was only published in February 2014, concluding that ‘we suggest that lotus seed has a potential to be developed as an effective agent against obesity-related diseases’. Its effects in humans are unknown at this time.
- Caffeine: Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism, causing a small increase in the number of calories used by the body. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive.
So What Does All This Mean?
This diet pill contains some caffeine, comparable with the amounts found in one or two cups of caffeine (dependent upon size and strength). Yohimbe interacts with caffeine, making it both more potent and more likely to cause side effects. Some of the other ingredients in this diet pill do not seem to be related to weight loss in any way. Withania Somnifera might lower blood pressure, which may go some way to counteracting any increases in blood pressure caused by caffeine and yohimbe.
Does EpiBurn Pro Have Any Side Effects?
Side effects associated with caffeine include headaches, increased urination, jitteriness, dehydration, increased blood pressure, heart palpitations and problems sleeping.
Yohimbe has been linked with irregular or rapid heartbeat, kidney failure, seizure, and heart attack in rare cases. More common side effects include stomach upset, tremor, sleep problems, anxiety or agitation, high blood pressure, a racing heartbeat, dizziness, stomach problems, drooling, sinus pain, irritability, headache, frequent urination, bloating, rash, nausea, and vomiting. It may also interact with caffeine, increasing the chances of side effects.
Withania somnifera is considered safe for short term use, but its use in the long term has not been researched. Possible side effects from its use include stomach upset, diarrhoea, vomiting, lowered blood sugar levels, and a drop in blood pressure.

Any EpiBurn Pro Reviews From Customers?
There are only a few customer reviews available for EpiBurn Pro, but they all seem to be authentic, having been left at GNC. The reviews that have been left have been overwhelmingly positive.
First day taking this pill and I must say love it, gave more energy for my workout this morning, I feel awake, more energized, less hungry just oxy-pro elite, I will be updating my status as I finished the bottle.
This product is amazing! It’s by far the best thermogenic I have EVER bought.. Curves my appetite, gives me a huge energy boost, and improves my cardio level a lot!! Overall I would highly recommend this to anyone serious about dropping lbs.
I was a huge oxyelite pro fan and was very disappointed when they discontinued it! I bought this product in hopes that it was as effective and so far I LOVE IT!! I have been on epiburn pro for a week now and I love the energy it gives me without the jitters and it suppresses my appetite! It doesnt upset my stomach like other supplements do! I will definately buy this product again! Will update again when I finish this bottle!
I just starting taking on my second day ,and already feel the affect . Today I could not finish my break fest kinda reminds me of oxy elite pro, when you was not as hungry . I will be making another review after 30 days to tell was it effective as oxy elite pro was ,I am really hoping it is. I am following a 1200 cal working out twice a day drinking a gallon of water also taking a daily vitamin.
None of the customers who have promised follow-up reviews have left them yet, but considering all of the reviews are less than 6 weeks old at the time of writing this review, this is unsurprising.
So Does EpiBurn Pro Work?
It seems that Epiburn Pro does provide an energy boost to the majority of consumers. However, the reviews have all been left after only a few weeks or even days of use, and so it is not possible to tell how much of a role it plays in weight loss.
The ingredients list suggests that whilst it will boost energy, the diet pill has only limited weight loss capacity. Consumers are more likely to lose weight as a result of being able to perform more exercise because of their increased energy, rather than because of any fat burning effects of the diet pill.
Where Can I Buy EpiBurn Pro?
EpiBurn Pro can be bought from a number of different online supplement retailers. Even though there is an official website providing information about the product, it appears that customers cannot purchase EpiBurn Pro direct from the manufacturers.
GNC offer a bottle of 90 capsules for $59.99, although at the time of writing the product had just gone into the sale, priced at $34.99. It is unknown how long this reduced price will last.
At bodybuilding.com, the same sized bottle is available for $39.95 plus delivery. At the time of writing, the product appeared to be on backorder, possibly because it is a new product that has sold better than expected.
What About A Guarantee
This will vary according who you purchase the supplement from.
Bodybuilding.com have a comprehensive returns policy, which covers used and unused products. If they are unable to offer an exchange or refund, often they provide store credit instead. For full details about their returns policy and satisfaction guarantee.
Overall, the makers of EpiBurn Pro seem to be a bit confused about what their product actually does; they do not really describe how it works, and don’t even provide a generic sales pitch filled with buzz words, like many other companies do. They merely state that it is “All you’ll ever want in one awesome little capsule”.
The ingredients profile is also unusual; other than caffeine, no ingredient is conclusively linked with significant weight loss. Yohimbe is a stimulant with some evidence to link it with fat burning, and Nelumbo Nucifera seems to improve at burning in the preliminary report released in Feb 2014. However, the other ingredients have no ties to weight loss at all, instead being used as adaptogens and general tonics to treat a wide range of ailments.
Yohimbe and caffeine together cause a wide range of possible side effects, and so make this product unsuitable for a long list of people. At least the usage instructions reflect the dangers of taking these stimulant products in the long term, recommending a maximum of 8 weeks of consuming the diet pill at one time, before taking a minimum 4 week break.
Overall, there is too much confusion about what EpiBurn Pro is supposed to do, as well as problems with the ingredients profile, to recommend it as a viable weight loss supplement. As such we reject EpiBurn Pro.
