With a successful pre-launch in the US, Nuratrim quickly sold out and saw a number of celebrities jumping on product. Towards the end of 2011 when released in the UK accompanied with excellent PR, Nuratrim soon became the latest diet pill to cause a stir!
Taking a look at the Official Nuratrim website though you could be less than impressed! So it’s likely that the initial success of Nuratrim is linked to the recent media coverage and early endorsement of celebrities.

What Does Nuratrim Claim To Do?
The manufacturers claim that by taking Nuratrim you can burn up to an extra 280 more calories per day whilst reducing food cravings and helping you to eat less by feeling fuller much sooner.
Testimonials from subjects within the clinical trial have said…
I started Nuratrim 3 months ago, I heard about a weight loss trial and decided to take part. After trying several diet pills over the years and not having much success I wasn’t particularly optimistic but thought I will give it a go…..
After 3 months of taking Nuratrim I have lost 2 stone, I didn’t feel deprived of anything if I fancied a bit of chocolate I had it
What Are The Ingredients For Nuratrim?
Nuratrim achieves its four-step approach to weight loss by using four clinically proven weight loss ingredients. Whilst these ingredients are not new and found in other diet pills, from our research this is the first time they have been combined like this.
Each 1,000mg capsule includes the following ingredients:
- Glucomannan (200mg): Helps you to feel fuller quicker so that you eat less. It does this by swelling in your stomach by absorbing up to 200 times its weight in water. Glucomannan has some good research, so could potentially yield positive results but there is unlikely there is enough in here as studies suggest you need AT LEAST 1,000mg per day!
- Capsicum Extract (200mg): One of the most popular ingredients at the moment and used in a number of fat burners to kick start metabolism so you increase the number of calories burnt.
- Licorice Extract (200mg): Number of health benefits which include significant decrease in bad cholesterol levels. Evidence has suggested can help lower body fat and promote decreased body mass index.
- Green Coffee Extract (250mg): Aids absorption and the utilization of glucose that has been should to reduce body fat. A double-blind study lasting 4-weeks found that 75% of the volunteers lost on average 3.5lbs over 2 weeks. The preliminary study that sparked the interest in Green Coffee Extract used dosages of 350mg twice or three times daily to see any weight loss effects. This supplement has less than 1/3 of the amount used in this study!
So What Does All This Mean?
The clinically proven weight loss ingredients in Nuratrim can promote increased fat burning whilst helping to decrease calories consumed. This means that you can lose weight more effectively without having to make any changes to your lifestyle.
Of course eating a healthy diet and increasing or introducing more exercise to your lifestyle will give you even better results!
Does Nuratrim Have Any Side Effects?
There should not be any adverse reactions from the ingredients in Nuratrim as they are 100% natural and are no strong stimulants present.
A few consumers have reported experiencing mild bloating and are likely due to the effects of Glucomannan helping to increase sensations of being full. This could also be due to those few consumers having little or no fiber in their diet and so not used to the effects of a fiber rich diet.
Caution: This supplement is only for adults over 18 years of age and not for pregnant or breast feeding mothers.
Any Nuratrim Reviews From Customers?
Although there are no case studies as such on the official Nuratrim website, there are a number of before and after pictures from successful dieters.
Here are some Nuratrim before and after pictures featured on the official site …
We looked for independent consumer reviews on Nuratrim and found mostly sites that were promoting it, using similar images to those above.
We took a look at Amazon and found mostly negative feedback from customers who overall gave Nuratrim 1.3 out of 5 stars!
One Amazon reviewer wrote…
I was convinced to try these tablets after reading about them in the Telegraph. I wish I had not wasted my money. The box arrived (minus any leaflet inside) and I started to take the tablets one a day. They are supposed to make you stop eating as much and specifically say there are no side effects. Since taking them, my appetite has grown and I am suffering from tummy cramps and diarrhea.
So Does Nuratrim Work?
We have seen far too many times diet pills trying to combine too many weight loss ingredients into one pill, which sacrifices the quantity sufficient to have any meaningful effect. Nuratrim resists this temptation and instead relies on using only 4 clinically proven ingredients to get the job done.
Two of the most powerful weight loss ingredients that will have a beneficial effect are capsicum extract and Glucomannan.
Capsicum extract has been successfully used in a number of other diet pills, such as Capsiplex and more recently Capsiplex Plus, to help increased fat burning and the number of calories burnt.
Results from clinical studies at the University of Oklahoma have shown an extra 278 calories can be burnt per day whilst taking capsicum extract. This is because the capsicum extract increases metabolic rate helping to boost fat and carbohydrate burning.
In contrast, Glucomannan is a rich natural water-soluble fiber derived from konjac root (Amorphophallus konjac). Glucomannan has impressive absorption rates and can absorb up to 200 times its weight in water.
This means that after consuming Nuratrim the Glucomannan part will help to increase stomach contents to give the feeling of being fuller and having eaten more than you have. The problem is that clinical studies have shown you need at least 1,000mg in order for Glucomannan to have a significant effect on weight loss.
Take a look at the 1984 study here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6096282
This suggests there is not enough in this supplement for this ingredient to have much if any effect!
Where Can I Buy Nuratrim?
You can buy Nuratrim directly from the official website from £34.95 ($56) with big discounts on the “Buy 4 Get 2 FREE” and “Buy 3 Get 1 FREE” packages.
There is a UK and International customer support phone line.
What About a Money-Back Guarantee?
We couldn’t find any mention of a money-back guarantee for Nuratrim.
The most effective diet pills tend to ones that approach weight loss in more than one-way, typically by reducing calorie intake and promote increased calorie expenditure.
Information about Nuratrim can be found on the official website. Although the website is not the best we have seen, it’s certainly not the worse!
Nuratrim looked incredibly promising when we first started our review but the poor consumer feedback gave us some concerns.
The excellent media exposure received for Nuratrim has no doubt helped this supplement become an overnight “success”. With the lack of a money-back guarantee, poor feedback and question as to whether sufficient ingredients are present to promote significant weight loss, we have to reject Nuratrim.
