ResveraShape Facts

  • Manufactured by Ideal Shape
  • 60 capsules per bottle
  • Sold as fat burning energy booster

The Resverashape website goes into a lot of detail about how this product can benefit the customer by aiding weight loss. However, the Resverashape sales page also features information about an ingredient called Slendesta, a potato based appetite suppressant.

What confuses us is why this information is listed on this page, as Slendesta is not a listed ingredient in Resverashape. This link could confuse customers, or suggest to them that one of Resverashape’s main properties is to suppress the appetite, which could lead to disappointed customers.

The website also makes some incredibly misleading claims about resveratrol, one of the active ingredients used in Resverashape.

Writing,

Why don’t French women get fat? It must be the red wine! Resveratrol is an ingredient found naturally in several foods… and it has been shown to help the body burn calories more efficiently.

This is not only incorrect but incredibly misleading for any potential customers- not only has Resveratrol not been shown to increase the burning of calories, some studies have actually shown that it slows the body’s sleeping metabolic rate significantly. What resveratrol does do is improve the body’s insulin sensitivity.

How to Take ResveraShape

As a dietary supplement take one capsule in the early morning with 8 oz of water, and one capsule with 8 oz of water in the early afternoon.

What Does ResveraShape Claim To Do?

According to the manufacturer:

ResveraShape is a fat-burning energy booster that helps you feel fuller longer. In addition to its hunger-blocking and metabolism benefits, ResveraShape delivers increased energy combined with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties to make it an ideal supplement to anyone’s diet and weight loss plan.

So What Is ResveraShape and What Are The Ingredients for ResveraShape?

Each capsule provides the following ingredients in the listed quantities.

  • Trans-Resveratrol (30 mg): This ingredient is a type of polyphenol, which has been repeatedly associated with reducing insulin resistance with regular use in several clinical trials. However, this may not necessarily lead to weight loss, especially when considering that a few trials have linked the use of Resveratrol with a slight decrease in the body’s sleeping metabolic rate. Whilst the use of Resveratrol can be beneficial for general health, it is not an ideal weight loss aid.

  • Kelp (50mg): a good source of iodine, which is required by the thyroid for effective function. Also contains vitamins and minerals.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar (50mg): One Japanese study has suggested that consumption of apple cider vinegar daily may lead to a very small amount of weight loss, compared to consuming water. However, over the three month study, those who took the apple cider vinegar only lost 1-2 pounds more than their water drinking counterparts.

  • Caffeine Anhydrous (50 mg): Numerous studies have shown that caffeine boosts energy levels and alertness, as well as mildly boosting the metabolism, causing a small increase in the number of calories used by the body. The effects shown in studies are small, and some studies are inconclusive.

  • Green Tea Extract (100 mg): Green tea is high in a group of antioxidants called catechins. Studies have suggested that catechins and caffeine both increase energy expenditure by boosting the metabolism temporarily. However, the metabolic increase caused by green tea is limited. One study found that the use of green tea was not enough to counteract weight gain following a poor diet.

So What Does All This Mean?

Green tea and caffeine have both been proven to boost the metabolism and thermogenesis in the body, aiding weight loss when used in conjunction with a balanced and calorie restricted diet. Kelp is a good source of iodine, but unless the consumer is deficient in iodine, taking kelp is unlikely to boost weight loss efforts.

Apple cider vinegar can increase weight loss, but by an incredibly small amount over a long period of regular use. Resveratrol does improve insulin sensitivity, but as it also decreases the metabolism, it is unlikely to contribute towards weight loss.

Does ResveraShape Have Any Side Effects?

Caffeine can cause a range of side effects including headaches, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, heart palpitations, increased urination, dehydration, anxiety, jitteriness and insomnia. Caffeine is present in this diet pill as both a separate ingredient and as a naturally occurring part of green tea.

Resveratrol is generally safe for consumption, but may slow blood clotting. It should not be supplemented in the two weeks before surgery, or whilst the patient is recovering.

Apple cider vinegar can lower blood sugar levels, and so diabetics should consult their doctor before supplementing this ingredient. Long term use of large amounts of Apple Cider vinegar can lead to low potassium levels, but the small amounts used in Resverashape should not affect this significantly, especially if the user has a well-balanced diet.

Drinking undiluted apple cider vinegar can cause a sore throat and heart burn, because of the acidic nature of the liquid, but these side effects should not occur when the extract is taken in capsule form, such as in Resverashape.

Those who have thyroid problems (whether it is underactive or overactive) should consult their doctor before consuming supplements that contain kelp, which is a good source of iodine.

Caution:

Not suitable for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Not suitable for those under the age of 18.

Not suitable for those who have high blood pressure or known cardiac related health issues.

People who are known to be sensitive to caffeine should also avoid this diet pill.

Not suitable for anyone who is receiving treatment or medications that affect the thyroid.

Any ResveraShape Reviews From Customers?

There are several customer testimonials on the Ideal Shape website in the form of videos, but these all relate to the use of the complete Ideal Shape diet and hypnotherapy program, rather than the use of the Resverashape supplement on its own.

There are only two written customer reviews of the Resverashape supplement that we could locate, which are in the shop section of the Ideal Shape website.

Taking Resveratrol has not helped me lose weight and does not work as an appetite suppressant for me. BUT, wow it has really amped my sex drive in a good way! ordering more of this! Ladies if menopause has robbed you then start taking this. You will be amazed!

IdealShape was running a deal on ResveraShape so I decided to give it a try. Right away I felt a slight energy boost – just enough to feel more mental sharpness throughout the day. Now it’s been almost 2 months and I’ve noticed the following:
Easier weight maintenance. As long as I stay aware of my food intake, I find myself digesting more easily, causing less bloat and a more consistent weight. I went from counting calories to simply not needing to.
Healthier looking skin. Hey, green tea has antioxidants and antioxidants can increase skin elasticity, so who knows?
More stabilized energy. I have noticed that on days I take the supplement, I have less fluctuation of energy levels throughout the day. I don’t usually intake any other caffeine.
So now ResveraShape is a part of my daily regimen and I’m not turning back anytime soon. I highly recommend you give this product a try, in addition to a healthy diet. It can be a big help.

So Does ResveraShape Work?

With only a few customer reviews of the product, it does seem as if customers like the supplement. However, one reviewer ranks the product incredibly highly, despite it not aiding weight loss or suppressing their appetite at all. Overall, we would suggest that perhaps the product helps consumers to maintain weight and to avoid weight gain, rather than aiding weight loss.

Based upon the ingredients list, it is possible that consumers could lose weight from using this supplement, but we feel that the weight loss would only be minimal. Some of the ingredients do not aid weight loss according to clinical trials, whilst the proven ingredients are still not considered to be incredibly strong. The quantities used also make us question the strength of the product.

Where Can I Buy ResveraShape?

Ideal Shape are the manufacturers and primary sellers of Resverashape. Currently they are offering a single bottle of the product for $29.99 plus delivery charges, which provides a 30 day supply.

Customers can phone the company to arrange an auto ship program, which gives them free shipping on all future deliveries. However, whilst the company states that the auto ship program can be stopped at any time, consumers often end up out of pocket if they forget to cancel their orders, or can end up with large amounts of product if they take a break from using the product.

Ideal Shape can only ship within the US at this point in time.

What About A Guarantee

The manufacturer states:

Try IdealShape 100% RISK FREE! We know the power of our products. That’s why if you are unsatisfied with our product in any way, simply return it to us and we’ll give you a refund of the purchase price up to 30 days after your order date.

Watchdog Verdict

In general we are not very impressed with Resverashape. It appears to be promoted as a supplement to use alongside the Ideal Shape weight loss program, and there is little evidence that it works alone to aid significant weight loss. The small amount of caffeine in the diet pill is unlikely to cause side effects, but it and the other active ingredients, are also unlikely to hugely boost weight loss.

The money back guarantee is reassuring, but as delivery costs are not covered by the guarantee, customers should not let this alone convince them to try the product. With customer reviews that are happy with the product despite not mentioning significant weight loss, we believe that there are few or no side effects, but also only small results.

We do not recommend ResveraShape to our readers.
