Watchdog Approved Diet Pills

Triactiburn

SHARE & COMMENT
Triactiburn is a diet pill that is promoted as a powerful but 100% natural fat burner and metabolism booster. Whilst some of its ingredients hold promise, its manufacturers seem to have a dubious online profile, with numerous positive reviews on Amazon looking suspicious.

Below we take a closer look at why Triactiburn may not be as good as it initially seems.

Triactiburn Pros

  • Clinical evidence exists for some ingredients

Triactiburn Cons

  • Some positive reviews may be faked
  • No ingredient quantities provided
  • Lack of information provided about manufacturer

Triactiburn Facts

  • Manufactured by LivingFit USA
  • Each bottle contains 30 capsules
  • Only available through Amazon

Triactiburn is a diet pill available exclusively through Amazon. It is manufactured by a company called LivingFit USA.

Surprisingly little information is available about this company. Their official website is a stub, with only a brief home page and about page, as well as a link to one of their amazon sales pages. The website does not even have a description of all the products that they manufacture and sell, making them look unprofessional. Unfortunately for LivingFit USA, this makes us suspicious about their credibility as a company.

They have no contact information, apart from an email address listed on their website. The only assurance they provide is that they are based in America, which is obviously a tactic to reassure shoppers.

Triactiburn contains numerous natural ingredients, many of which are present in a wide array of other diet pills available on the market. The combination of numerous ingredients means that the pill is marketed as having several benefits for those who want to lose weight fast and easily. These traits include appetite suppression, fat burning, metabolism boosting, and the ever mysterious power of antioxidants. The user’s energy levels will also be boosted, according to the amazon sales page.

The diet pill promises;

Fast and Easy Weight Loss Results for Both Men and Women.

Here at Diet Pills Watchdog, we are incredibly sceptical about these claims. The ingredient quantities have not been made public, and so it is difficult to tell how strong these diet pills are, and whether they will lead to any weight loss, let alone “fast and easy weight loss results”.

Triactiburn Concerns:

  • No information on ingredient amounts so difficult to tell if sufficient amounts per serving
  • The effects of one pill won’t last all day
  • Trustworthiness of company is debatable and some of the Amazon feedback looks suspect

What Does Triactiburn Claim To Do?

Triactiburn is marketed as a “Natural Extra Strength Fat Burner” and Appetite Suppressant, with Antioxidant Power. The ingredients are 100% natural, and are thought to boost the metabolic rate of the body, as well as suppressing the dieter’s appetite. The caffeine in Triactiburn is to boost the energy levels of dieters, as well as to burn more calories throughout the day.

The diet pill also claims to be high in antioxidants, which are thought to have numerous benefits for the body.

So What Is Triactiburn and What Are The Ingredients For Triactiburn?

Triactiburn is marketed as a 100% natural diet pill, with numerous ingredients that are thought to have a beneficial effect upon the body. The ingredients include green tea extract, yerba mate and guarana: all of which are natural sources of caffeine. Other ingredients include pomegranate, acai berry, resveratrol, Siberian ginseng and Hoodia.

It is currently unknown how much of the formula each tablet contains.

  • Hoodia: This plant extract was eaten traditionally in the South African bush to stave off hunger, but there is almost no clinical evidence that actually proves that it works. The biggest study in humans only used 7 participants, making research preliminary and inconclusive at best. You can read our Hoodia diet pill scam article for more information.

  • Green tea extract: There have been numerous studies that have focused upon the weight loss potential of green tea; studies have typically found that the catechins (a type of antioxidant) present in green tea, as well as caffeine, increase the thermogenic output of the body for a short period of time, typically around 4 hours. This increases the amount of calories burnt by the body, by a fairly small but consistent amount. Over time, with regular use, this can lead to weight loss. Studies have also found that regular use of green tea can improve blood pressure as well as lowering LDL cholesterol levels in the blood. Improvements were seen not only in body weight, but also in measurements of ‘body mass index, body fat ratio, body fat mass, waist circumference, hip circumference, visceral fat area, and subcutaneous fat area’ showing that fat was lost, rather than merely water weight or muscle mass.

  • Resveratrol: This ingredient is a type of polyphenol, an antioxidant, which is found naturally in the skin of red grapes, as well as some other plant sources. Resveratrol has been found to help prevent insulin resistance, and so indirectly could have implications for weight loss in some patients. However, as yet this has not been confirmed conclusively through clinical trials, and so it is incorrect for Triactiburn to market it as a ‘naturally occurring compound that increases metabolism’.

  • Acai berry: A berry that has been wrongly hyped up as a weight-loss super-food, Acai berry use in diet pills has rocketed in recent years. The sellers of Triactiburn correctly do not try to claim that Acai berry has any weight loss power, instead stating that it helps to protect against free radicals. Acai berry is high in Anthocyanins, antioxidants which may help to protect the body against cancer, inflammation, aging, neurological diseases, diabetes, and bacterial infections.

  • Pomegranate: The use of pomegranate in Triactiburn is described as ‘Powerful antioxidant, Anti-aging, Improves digestion’ according to the sales page on amazon. Whilst eating pomegranate may improve digestion thanks to the presence of fibre, the small amount present in diet pills is unlikely to have the same effect. The NHS has concluded that;
    ‘Evidence around the health benefits of pomegranates are inconclusive.’

  • Yerba mate: A plant that is typically brewed as a tea, yerba mate is a natural source of caffeine, and has been the subject of several studies on weight loss. In a 2001 study of 47 healthy overweight adults, researchers found that taking an herbal preparation of yerba mate, guarana, and damiana three times daily for 45 days induced weight loss. It is not clear whether the individual ingredients from this preparation have the same weight loss potential on their own, or how much of each ingredient is required to replicate the results of the study. See our article on Yerba mate for more information.

  • Guarana: A berry that is naturally high in caffeine, it is often an ingredient in energy drinks and diet pills. There is some evidence that caffeine stimulates the body’s nervous system for several hours after being ingested, and that this leads to more calories being burnt by the body. However, results in positive studies are small, and many other studies are inconclusive.

  • Siberian ginseng: The makers of Triactiburn claim that Siberian ginseng “Brings adrenal glands into balance to improve metabolic functions, aids immune system, and regulates energy levels.” However, the Natural Medicine Journal has stated that “there is currently little clinical evidence on the use of Siberian ginseng….to treat any medical condition in humans”, with mixed results from clinical trials and any beneficial effects declining after 8 weeks of use.

So What Does All This Mean?

A large number of ingredients in a diet pill is not always a good thing. Users of Triactiburn are instructed to take just one pill before or with breakfast each day. With this many ingredients, it is unlikely that any single ingredient will be present in any significant amounts in just one pill, meaning that the user is much less likely to gain any benefits from taking Triactiburn.

Green tea extract and yerba mate both have some support from clinical trials, but again, some studies yield mixed or inconclusive results. Even these two ingredients will not yield quick weight loss results, as their effect upon the body is still relatively small. The studies also required consumption of the ingredients more often than the use of Triactiburn will allow, making results from its use even less likely.

Does Triactiburn Have Any Side Effects?

The majority of customer reviews have mentioned experiencing very few or no side effects, although one reviewer noted that they suffered from mood changes whilst using Triactiburn.

Without knowing the ingredient amounts, it is impossible to tell what side effects could result from use of Triactiburn. However, the use of three different ingredients that naturally contain caffeine may lead to caffeine-related side effects. These can include increased urination, jitteriness, altered sleeping patterns and insomnia, especially if consumed late at night. Whilst using Triactiburn, monitor caffeine intake from other sources such as beverages.

Caution: Avoid if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Not to be consumed by people under 18 years of age.

Any Triactiburn Reviews From Customers?

On amazon, there are numerous reviews from customers on Triactiburn. At the time of writing, 139 of the 160 reviews were 5*, which is a huge percentage. However, looking closely at the reviews has caused us to be a tad sceptical; many of the reviews do not mention how much weight was lost, and some read more like an advert than a review.

Some customers who have reviewed Triactiburn have also posted reviews of other diet pills in a close time frame, suggesting that they are using several different diet pills simultaneously, or that they are writing faked reviews. One amazon customer even went as far as writing two identical reviews for two different LivingFit USA products, changing only the name of the product.

It is not possible to tell exactly how many of these positive reviews are fake, but there are still some that seem to be genuine.

Customers report a wide range of benefits, primarily a boost in energy levels, and a reduced appetite. One customer noted that there were no “no jitters, no crashes, no weird feelings at all”. Weight loss varies between customers, but many do not mention exactly how many pounds they have lost. Unsurprisingly, the customers who have successfully lost the most weight have also taken on healthy eating programs and exercise regularly, as well as taking Triactiburn.

There are also a small number of negative reviews from customers, with many of these pointing out the “overly pumped reviewers”, claiming that they “seem to be fluffers from the company.”

Other negative reviews focus solely on the product, with one customer leaving the review;

No help with appetite. Caused mood changes as well.

Another noted that;

Appetite has not changed and my energy has not increased. Workouts feel the same. The difference I feel is in my digestion and bowel, very sluggish feeling, like I ingested lead.

So Does Triactiburn Work?

The problem with appetite suppressants that are based upon natural ingredients is that appetite is often a problem of mind over matter. People who take appetite suppressants will not automatically lose weight unless they actually adjust the amount of food they eat each day. An appetite suppressant will merely make the dieter less hungry throughout the day, which can make a diet more tolerable. The appetite suppressing qualities of Triactiburn are the most debated in customer reviews, and is the element of the diet pill that has the least clinical evidence.

It is possible that the metabolism boosting ingredients will have an effect upon the body, if they are present in sufficient amounts, but without knowing ingredient quantities, it is impossible to compare Triactiburn with any relevant clinical studies or to establish how well the pills will work.

Overall, it is likely that Triactiburn does not work as well as is claimed, and that much of the success of customers is due more to changes in diet and exercise, rather than the diet pill alone.

Where Can I Buy Triactiburn?

Currently Triactiburn is only available to buy through Amazon, which is through the manufacturer, LivingFit USA. The usual price of a bottle is $54.95, but at the time of writing, Triactiburn was on offer at $24.95 per bottle, with free shipping.

What About A Guarantee

The manufacturers of Triactiburn offer no money back guarantee at this time.

Watchdog Verdict

Whilst initially Triactiburn looks like a promising slimming aid, our research has revealed that a proportion of the overwhelmingly positive reviews may be faked. It is hard to trust a company that has felt the need to write fake reviews of their own product, especially when so little information about the company is available on their incredibly basic website.

In addition to this, no ingredient quantities are provided, and so it is not possible to establish the safety or effectiveness of Triactiburn.

There are some clinical studies that suggest green tea and caffeine may aid with weight loss, but there is little or no evidence for the rest of the ingredients included in Triactiburn. Without knowing the ingredient quantities, it is impossible to tell whether ingredients are included in high enough quantities to make an impact upon weight loss. Buying a product without clear knowledge of what to expect is often the same as throwing money away.

All of these points considered means we cannot recommend Triactiburn.

    The seller gets folks from fiverr.com to purchase the product on Amazon free with a promo code, then cancels their order shortly after the bogus reviews are posted. Complete scam, don’t put this junk in your body :(
