Beach Body Summer Countdown Video
As the weather gradually improves, it's starting to feel like we may actually get a summer this year, so it's time to turn our attentions to how we're going to look when we're on the beach or by the pool.
It may be tempting to go on some crash diet or spend every free hour in the gym, but you can't keep up this routine forever, so once you stop, the weight will come back and you'll find yourself back at square one.
Remember – slow and steady wins the race, so you'll be much better choosing a steadier path that doesn't shock your body too much. That way, you can keep up the changes after your summer holiday and maintain your weight loss.
Exercise should be an important part of your routine, although that doesn't mean that you have to go to the gym every day – just go a little bit more than normal and mix it up with things like walking and swimming so that it doesn't get boring.
Amending your diet is also important and most of us will have areas where we know we can cut down.
That doesn't mean taking all the delicious stuff out of your diet; you can still have the odd treat and if you cook more for yourself, you'll know exactly what's going into your food, rather than processed options.
And as long as you're being sensible with your diet and the amount you exercise, you can use slimming supplements to accentuate any losses you make and help you to feel more confident about your appearance in swimwear when you head on holiday this summer.
